Easynet Connect Launches Business Broadband Packages

Business Internet provider, Easynet Connect has today announced the availability of its first no minimum term Internet packages, in a move to deliver greater flexibility to UK small businesses which don't want the financial commitments required by long-term contracts, which could typically last up to three years.

The move comes in response to customer demand for more flexible Internet services with participating businesses paying for their Internet service on a monthly basis with a penalty-free 30-day notice period for cancellations. Customers will be able to get connection speeds of up to 40Mbps on Easynet Connect's premium EtherStream product and will receive the same high levels of customer support as fixed-term customers such as our industry leading 20 working day installation pledge.

The offer is available on all of Easynet Connect's 'on-net' SDSL, ADSL, EtherStream and SureStream services, but won't be available on services delivered over BT's network, including fibre-based Leased Lines and off-net DSL services and will be initially available on all new contracts signed before 30 April 2009.

Chris Stening, Managing Director of Easynet Connect, said: "Small businesses have been demanding more flexibility when it comes to their Internet package for some time and we've tried to break the industry mould with our no minimum term offer. The Internet has the power to help small companies through the recession so it is important that they can access the internet without having to make long term commitments."

"We're committed to putting an end to the poor levels of service that businesses receive form their ISP and our no minimum term offer is just one of a number of measures which we believe will do this. We have reduced installation times by up to a third, have improved bandwidths, provided up to 40Mbps over copper and now for the first time, we're offering no minimum term, penalty-free contracts."
