A total of 137 Eaton UPS systems are currently installed within Sentrum’s portfolio of data centres and some idea of the scale of these installations can be gained by noting that, between them, they use 25,000 batteries with a total weight in excess of 830 tonnes.
The Eaton UPS systems were selected by Sentrum after its engineers completed an in-depth evaluation of the options available in the market, whilst looking specifically for a solution that ensured high performance levels, a compact construction, versatility and value for money.
