Eclipse Internet launches business connectivity solutions optimised for cloud and hosted application

Eclipse Internet has announced the launch of Eclipse Connect, a portfolio of flexible connectivity solutions designed to suit any structure of business. The solutions have been optimised to deliver the future of ICT services, including cloud and hosted applications.

The first two products within the portfolio – Internet Connect and Network Connect – are available now to Partners.

Eclipse Connect for Partners has been specifically created to be easy to quote, easy to buy and easy to support. The solutions offer customers of Partners straightforward, flexible solutions to help them share, connect and work.

“We are extremely excited about the launch of Eclipse Connect and it is great news for our Partners. The new portfolio provides a set of flexible connectivity solutions optimised for the delivery of cloud and hosted-based services. With a self-service pricing tool, 100% SLAs and proactive monitoring as standard, our aim is to put our Partners ahead of the competition”, comments Clodagh Murphy, Managing Director of Eclipse Internet.

“We’ve got a very passionate team here at Eclipse who can’t wait to support our Partners and provide them with Eclipse Connect solutions that can grow with their future needs, whilst giving them a competitive edge.”

Internet Connect gives Partners the benefit of offering their customers a direct and exclusive connection to the internet; to provide access to partners’ hosted application services; or both. Network Connect is a private LAN network connectivity solution that can be delivered via Point to Point, Hub and Spoke or Any to Any set ups, either creating a private WAN within a customer’s business, or with a breakout to Partner services such as VoIP and other hosted based applications.

Both Internet Connect and Network Connect include a 100% SLA for peace of mind and flexible contracts lengths of 1 to 5 years. An automated quoting tool allows Partners to benefit from easily calculating their own margins, with everything assisted by dedicated Account Management and pre-sales support.

Real time SMS or email alerts are provided via the unique monitoring tool, Sentinel, in the unlikely event of a line outage. Fix times start at 4 hours and for extra reassurance, a range of failover options are offered to provide a constant business connection.

Both Internet Connect and Network Connect are delivered using the best available technologies including Fibre and EFM. Private Broadband technology is also offered for Network Connect solutions. Partners even get the choice of taking the solutions as “wires only” or with Cisco CPE. Additionally, Eclipse have also taken the opportunity to push the speeds of their EFM technology, which will now be provided with speeds of up to 35Mb.

The choice of technologies, along with traffic prioritisation, means that Partners can make sure their customer traffic is run across their network seamlessly.

Eclipse Connect represents the first in a range of product groups that Eclipse will be launching, targeting the future of business focused communications and applications.
