Eloquent Technologies Partner with TFM Networks to win Allen Ford Converged Data and Voice Network
Leading UK Ford Dealership awards Data Network a substantial contract
Ford Dealer Group, Allen Ford, have awarded a contract to Eloquent Technologies, Channel partner to TFM Networks. Services include the supply of a fully converged Voice and Data MPLS Network. The Network was implemented as part of Allen Ford’s plans to consolidate their three regional divisions into one single national operation and enabling full integration of their sales, service and customer support capability across 22 showrooms and service centres.
TFM’s business only MPLS Core was crucial, delivering Quality of Service (QoS) at all sites, prioritising mission critical applications such as VoIP (Voice over IP) as well as other time sensitive services.
Showrooms are connected to the network utilising dual MPLS ADSL circuits, with high capacity ‘Ethernet’ based circuits to all three regional centres. Automatic failover and hardware resilience at mission critical sites met Allen Ford’s Disaster Recovery needs. Centralised Internet Access and firewalling, directly from the TFM MPLS core, completes the picture.
“Consolidating firewalls into the TFM MPLS core was a key factor,” stated Eloquent Technologies Managing Director, David Ford, “this alone, provided the means to police and manage a single policy at source and is an example of the ‘smart’ engineering approach that helped enable the partnership between TFM Networks and Eloquent to stand out from the competition and helped win the deal.”
Commenting on the completion of the network deployment, Ron Joseph, Managing Director at Allen Ford said, “We are delighted with the outcome – a single converged network to support our business. It’s a solution that has delivered on its promise; improving service capability and access to our systems across the group, whilst reducing costs and delivering a return on investment (ROI) within its first year.”
The contract award follows TFM Networks’ recent announcement of plans to double its revenues over the next 12 months through a combination of organic growth, acquisition and development of its channel proposition. “It’s a significant and timely success for our business,” added Daren Wallington, TFM Networks’ Sales Director, “confirming our ability to deliver growth by developing flexible propositions and business relationships with our channel partners is clearly demonstrated by this win.”
