Entagroups Christmas Gift to Severn Hospice

On Friday 8th December, Entagroup celebrated the end of a successful year with the staff Christmas party, which also helped to raise £375 for local charity, the Severn Hospice.

This special occasion brought together Entagroup’s three companies – Entatech, Entanet and Entamedia, whom as a unit, were able to celebrate yet another successful year of growth. The party also acknowledged the hard work and dedication of key members of staff through the group’s tradition of staff awards, which are voted for by Entagroup staff.

Another tradition of the Group’s Christmas celebrations is the donation of funds to a chosen charity for which this year, the company decided to raise money for Shropshire based charity, the Severn Hospice. As an independent, local charity, Severn Hospice receives two thirds of its revenue from public fundraising and Entagroup were more than happy to donate the money raised this year to a truly worthwhile cause.

The hospice cares for those who are living with complex and progressive illnesses, with the aim to sustain their quality of life and provide them with relief from pain and other symptoms relating to their illness.

Jon Atherton, Group Vice President at Entatech, said: “Supporting charities that are close to our hearts is something which we as a group are very passionate about and I’m pleased to announce that we have raised £375 for Severn Hospice through our staff Christmas party. Our Christmas party is not only our chance to celebrate the end of yet another fantastic year, but it also allows us to thank all of the staff for their sterling efforts throughout 2012.”

2012 has been an incredibly busy year for Entagroup as a whole, as the company continues to thrive and 2013 is set to be even busier. Everyone at Entagroup would like to wish all of our customers, vendors and acquaintances a very Merry Christmas, and a prosperous new year!

This isn’t the first time Entagroup staff have raised money for this worthy cause. In June Entanet staff participated in a charity dragon boat race, which is organised by the Severn Hospice, and raised over £1000.
