Epson launches two new ink tank system printers

IT
Epson has announced two new models to complete its mono focused portfolio of ink tank system printers (ET-M1170, ET-M2170). Providing an alternative to laser printers, these energy efficient printers are designed for users and businesses that need a low-cost solution to print a high volume of black and white documents.

Chris Jones, product manager, Epson Europe, says: “Our colour ink tank system printers have reached more than 30 million sales worldwide as they’ve proved such a reliable, cost-effective and efficient printing system. These new EcoTank mono models will build on that success, by providing users and small businesses, such as car garages and small accountancy firms, a solution to dramatically reduce their cost per page.”

The economical EcoTank provides a fundamentally different solution to laser printers. Providing an extremely low cost per page, businesses could print up to 11,000 pages in black from the set of bottles included with the printer. The printer features a large refillable ink tank that is filled with the included ink bottles instead of toner. Replacement ink bottles are affordable too and could save the business up to 90% on their cost per page.

The portfolio of EcoTank mono printers caters for a range of users and businesses with single function (ET-M1100, ET-M1120, ETM1140 and ET-M1170), 3-in-1 (ET-M2140 and ET-M2170) and 4-in-1 printers (ET-M3140 and ET-M3170). Users can find a model to suit their needs with specific models offering double-sided printing, Automatic Document Feeder, 150 sheet or 250 sheet tray, plus different connectivity solutions such as USB, Wi-Fi and Ethernet.
