Ericsson’s EMS Goes on the Road with Nimans

Ericsson’s Enterprise Multimedia Server will be the star attraction at two Nimans roadshows, providing dealers with the ideal opportunity to learn more about the all-in-one communication solution.

As Ericsson’s largest UK distributor, Nimans has hailed the launch of the vendor’s new EMS technology as a “quantum leap” forward and is predicting the feature-rich single box system will be a massive success.

Dealers are being invited to attend roadshows at Bolton on July 5th or Reading on July 10th where they can see the highly rated system in operation and learn how it can significantly boost their sales activities.

Specifically designed for small to medium enterprises or small office/home office workers, the EMS gives business users a single point of contact for any form of communication - voice, e-mail, fax, SMS or instant message - regardless of where they are and what device, fixed or mobile, they want to use.

Nimans’ Ericsson Business Manager Ian Nuttall says the system has been designed for 50-400 users and utilises ‘native SIP’ technology so that it can seamlessly connect to any other manufacturers’ applications or third-party SIP gateways and phones.

“This is a next generation system, a quantum leap forward in terms of technology and flexibility. There is nothing else comparable on the market. It is a flagship product which is destined to generate a lot of demand. Due to its high scalability the EMS will fit into the portfolio of the majority of resellers. Customers with lots of different platforms will be able to migrate onto one common infrastructure.”

He added: “We look forward to showcasing this exciting new product to dealers at the forthcoming roadshows so that they can learn more of its many impressive features and capabilities. In addition to outlining the main user benefits, we will also be highlighting some of the system’s technical advances.”
