Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award

XLN Telecom, a provider of fixed lines to small businesses, has announced that CEO, Christian Nellemann, has won the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Technology and Communication 2006.

Christian founded XLN Telecom in 2003. His goal was to ‘change the game’. XLN Telecom is one of the fastest growing providers of fixed lines and data to small businesses with over 65,000 customers. Sales has grown from £4m in 2004 to £21m for the year ending March 31st 2006, with a year on year growth of 70% expected for the current year.

Nellemann commented, “It is a real honour to be recognised for this achievement as myself and my team have worked hard for this. The telecoms market is continuously changing and I am delighted that we have remained leaders in the space and our contributions have not gone unnoticed. We expect to strengthen our lead in the UK market this coming year with some exciting new tariffs and features.”

This award was given in a ceremony on the 27th of June 2006 for leading entrepreneurs. Furthermore, Christian is currently a finalist in National Business Awards 2006 “Credit Swiss Entrepreneur of the Year”.
