Euro Focus at Vegastream

VegaStream, the developer of telephony media gateways, has announced the appointment of two regional sales directors, in order to manage business growth and maximise increasing sales opportunities throughout the Central Europe, Middle East and Southern Europe regions.

With a combined experience of over 50 years in the Telecommunications industry, Euro Scobogna, covering Southern Europe, and Ed Kruczek, heading up Central Europe and the Middle East bring a balanced mix of sales and business development background to the new positions and a wealth of experience in the convergence arena to the expanding VegaStream team.

Steve Davis, VP of Sales and Marketing at VegaStream comments; “We have witnessed a swell of interest in IP gateways throughout Europe, as more and more companies wake up to the fact that there is an alternative to the rip and replace approach to VoIP. As such we have placed a focus on increasing our sales effort to deal with the demand. The level of regional knowledge and expertise of Edward and Euro, will add great value to the team as we continue to drive this momentum forward.”

Prior to joining VegaStream, Ed Kruczek held account and regional management roles at Mitel Networks, with commended success in international sales and business development. Euro Scobogna joins the VegaStream team from start-up technology operation Futura ICT, where he was Managing Director, following director-level positions at Mitel Italia and Avaya-Lucent.

VegaStream is also pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Lowe-Jones as pre-sales engineer in the UK. This further addition to the expanding team, stands as testament to VegaStream's continuing success in this growing marketplace.
