Excalibur Grows Non-Mobile Revenues

IT
With 150 customers now on managed service agreements, IT and communications support specialists Excalibur Communications reports that more than £2M of its annual £9M revenue is now from non-mobile.

The growth is a result of a substantial push by Excalibur in 2013 to increase its share of IT customers and complement its existing service provider offerings of mobile, fixed line, security and unified communications.

Excalibur’s Chief Commercial Officer Andy Tow commented: “We are the only top-tiered Vodafone partner that is also a Microsoft Gold Partner, so with a highly qualified IT solutions team we are in an increasingly strong position to make this part of our business even more successful”.

Tow highlighted the influential role of Excalibur’s Head of Solutions, Graham Ford, appointed at the end of 2013 from Matrix (Computer Support) and also referred to the fact that the company now has Prince2-certified (Projects IN Controlled Environments) Project Managers, which he says is unprecedented for a company of Excalibur’s size and type in the communications industry.

He added, “The 150 landmark of companies now benefitting from our managed service IT agreements show that we have put the right people and systems in place to provide the very best for our customers - and alongside our existing products we are determined to maintain the highest possible standards."
