The need to open an office in Spain highlights how successful the Excel range is proving to be throughout Europe and also demonstrates the time and energy being invested by Excel into this key marketplace. Excel is going from strength to strength in its native UK market. The BSRIA annual independent Structured Cabling report issued in May of this year placed Excel 3rd in the overall market, with a revenue growth in the 12 month period in excess of 35%.
Nadeen Tisi, Director of Sales - International at Excel comments, “The newly opened offices provide our customers with a facility where they can actually see for themselves some of the products available from us in a working environment. Products installed in the E-Tech include a Server+, Equipment and 800 series floor cabinet. The cabinets are connected with Excel Category 6 and Category 6A cabling.
Nadeen continues, “We also have the new monitored and managed pdu’s connected over the cabling systems enabling the management of the pdu’s to be demonstrated remotely. A working demonstration of the RiT EPV intelligent patching system allows customers to see the benefits of this solution and again can be accessed remotely.
The E-Tech will continue to be updated with new products and technologies as and when they are launched, this tool will be used to demonstrate products to distributors and installation partners. As other offices open throughout Europe, this facility will be replicated in each of them.
