One of the key developments is that the site is now multilingual, initially launching with English, Spanish, French and Italian. More languages will be added in time. The new site also allows users to download product specification sheets and brochures and in addition to this Excel Cabling Partners can also personalize specific pdf’s with their logo and address details via the partner area.
Nadeen Tisi, International Sales Manager for Excel comments, “We have put a lot of time and effort into producing a website that provides both our existing and potential customers with an excellent source of information."
Tisi continued, “It became obvious to us, as the distribution of the Excel product range expanded into more and more overseas markets that we needed to offer the sites users, a choice of popular languages. We will be looking at introducing more languages over the coming months, increasing the sites usability for markets further afield.”
Other new features of the site include, a redesigned product directory to make items, spec sheets and other information easier to find and a fully functioning partner area for Excel Cabling Partners and Distribution Partners, which includes online site warranty processing, branded literature and other partner collateral.
The Excel product range incorporates an extensive range of copper and fibre solutions, cabinets and accessories. When installed by an official Excel Cabling or Distribution Partner, a 25 year product and application warranty is offered as standard.
Excel has continually invested in test and verification programmes for over 10 years working closely with laboratories such as Delta in Denmark. Many of the products in the Excel range have 3rd party certification. Third party verifications are an independent tick in the box, verifying either a product or a set of products compliance with a particular performance standard. Copies of all of the certificates can be downloaded from the website.
