Excitor, a mobile email and device management specialist, has announced it has entered into a strategic channel partnership with eCom90.
eCom90 will provide Excitor’s DME solution to mid sized companies and enterprises in the UK. DME allows companies to mobilise employees, giving them secure access to push email, company documents, calendars and contacts on their mobile phones or PDAs.
UK technology reseller eCom90 creates bespoke web based solutions to fit a variety of business needs, and provides an online service that can significantly simplify the way that businesses capture and process a wealth of audit information. The addition of DME to the ecom90 portfolio means that the company can offer its customers and prospects a complete enterprise mobility solution, without compromising the security of sensitive corporate data and communications.
Because DME is device agnostic, IT departments do not need to invest in fleets of new mobile devices for their employees, and can deploy DME company wide easily and at low cost. DME provides end-to-end encryption, password protection and an automatic wipe if a handset is lost, or SIM card changed.
Christopher Riordan, director at eCom90, commented on the partnership: “We were attracted to Excitor’s DME solution because of its robust and scalable nature, and the idea that organisations can embrace the trend of mobile working without compromising security, and without excessive initial expenditure. DME offers our customers a complete and flexible solution, which delivers quick ROI and measurable benefits. We’re confident that our customers will be keen to adopt this technology as part of their overall corporate strategies”.
