Executel Brokers Top Deal with Nationwide Network

North East communications specialist, Executel says it has further extended its reach outside the region with one of its largest and most lucrative contracts to date.

The telephony solution – for Harrogate-based Broker Network Ltd – aims to standardise communications across the firm’s 21 UK offices, seamlessly linking them with the very latest Voice over IP (Internet Protocol) technology. This in turn, will facilitate the delivery of both voice and data traffic over a single network and enable the company’s disparate sites to operate as if under one roof.

In addition, Gateshead-based Executel is providing Broker Network with a tailored Low Cost Routing (LCR) and wholesale line rental package, thus saving the firm significantly on standard BT business rates.

Of the investment, Grant Ellis, Chief Executive of Broker Network, said: “Broker Network has grown rapidly over the past few years and we are very aware of just how important good communication is. The new telephone system allows us to communicate seamlessly across all our sites and will be a massive benefit to both our own people and more importantly, our customers.”

Account manager for Executel, John Robson, added: “Broker Network is rapidly expanding its operations across the UK and we are both honoured and delighted to be contributing to its continued business growth.

“We have a strong reputation in the North East telecoms market and Broker Network is helping us to spread our wings and extend our reach to other areas of the country.

“During the installation, we have formed a strong working relationship with the firm and potentially have a second project in the pipeline which is a resounding vote of confidence for us as a service provider – long may the partnership continue.”

Founded in 1994, Broker Network is the UK’s largest and longest established network of independent commercial insurance brokers with over 160 members nationwide.
