Executel Gains Avaya Silver Accreditation

North East communications specialist, Executel, has been awarded Silver Status by leading global communications provider, Avaya.

The accreditation enables Executel to resell and distribute the full Avaya suite of communications solutions, desktop devices and peripherals and comes just five months after the firm gained Gold Solution Provider Status from telecoms vendor, Mitel.

Of the company’s achievement, Executel managing director, Tim Price, said: “It goes without saying that we are both honoured and delighted to be awarded Avaya Silver Status. Avaya is one of the world’s leading authorities in telecommunications and as such, this award is a major coup for Executel, which further reinforces our reputation and recognises our ability to deliver the highest standards of telephony.

Avaya products are among the best in the marketplace and as an official reseller, we are now in a privileged position and able to pass on the enterprise enhancing benefits of these products to our customers.”

In order to achieve the Avaya Silver Status, Executel was required to meet stringent criteria focusing on customer service, marketing & business plans and product training for technical and sales personnel.

Andrew Downing, Avaya account manager, said: “We are delighted to be able to recognise Executel’s focus on Avaya’s products and greatly look forward to further growing our relationship with the company and its Avaya customers in the North East.”
