The significant expansion of Bishop Auckland College into a £17.3m landmark learning facility has resulted in a major £70,000 contract for the North East’s leading communications firm.
As phase one of the new build draws to a close, the college has turned to Gateshead-based Executel for a cutting-edge telephony solution to complete the 21st century premises.
The installation will provide the college with IP technology using a Mitel 3300 communications platform to serve some 300 extensions. This will enable the delivery of voice and data traffic over a single network, which in turn is anticipated to streamline communications for the college and provide a future-proof telephony infrastructure for its multi-million pound site.
