Executel Lays The Foundations with McInerney Deal

The relocation of one of the UK’s largest property developers into a £2.35m purpose-built headquarters on Rainton Bridge Business Park in Houghton-le-Spring has sparked fresh contract joy for North East reseller Executel.

The installation – which is valued at around £20,000 – has equipped the North East division of McInerney Homes with a Mitel 3300 ICP communications platform to serve some 60 extensions and enable the transfer of both voice and data traffic over a single network.

Of Executel’s appointment as service provider, Barry Smith, managing director of McInerney Homes North East, said: “As a business that is growing and building a great reputation in this region, it was important to us that our move was seamless and our communication systems were up and running smoothly and in good time.

“Executel understood the importance of our customers, partners and suppliers being able to communicate with us during the move and have been professional, speedy and reliable throughout the activity.”

McInerney North East – one of six UK divisions located in the Midlands and North of England – has experienced rapid growth in the past year, not only with the acquisition of Bowey Homes and Lancing Homes, but also through organic growth as plans for other new developments come to fruition.

Craig Hutcheson, account manager for Executel, added: “McInerney Homes is currently experiencing a period of exciting change and expansion and we have therefore provided a highly scaleable and future-proof communications infrastructure from which the company can further grow its operations and evolve.

“Now is a crucial time for McInerney Homes as it embarks on the next chapter in its development and we very much look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with the company in the future.”

Executel is the region’s premier supplier of cutting-edge communication solutions and services. The firm currently employs a 35-strong workforce at its Metro Centre operation and is due to celebrate its tenth anniversary in October of this year.
