A leading Tyneside removals firm has completed its multi million pound expansion programme with investment in state-of-the-art technology from North East communications provider, Executel.
Removal and storage specialist, Quicksilver, has turned to Executel for a technology overhaul at its Throckley premises, which in turn completes a £5m investment programme for the company spanning the past five years.
The family-owned firm – which operates a 12-strong fleet of removal vans – has equipped its five storage facilities and purpose-built headquarters with Mitel 3300ICP systems.
Of the decision to work with Executel, Derek Jenkins, operations manager for Quicksilver, said: “During all phases of our development we have used local companies and when searching for a communications provider we wanted a forward thinking regional company to provide a state of the art solution which would meet the growing needs of the business.”
