Distributors MSPs
Exertis, the distributor of technology products for the B2B, mobile and retail markets today announced some organisational changes to its European, UK and Ireland operations which position the companies to take advantage of opportunities to grow their business now and in the future.

Paul Bryan, Exertis UK, managing director will take on the added responsibility of the Irish business, supported by Rod McCarthy who becomes head of Ireland following John Dunne’s promotion to the new position of chief commercial officer, North America and Gerry O’Keeffe’s move to an international role responsible for expanding Exertis’ presence in existing and new territories, replicating the success already achieved in his previous position as managing director for the UK, Ireland and Middle East. McCarthy will report to Bryan with Dunne reporting to O’Keeffe. Both Bryan and O’Keeffe report to Tim Griffin, DCC Technology and Exertis Group managing director.

“These changes to our organisation reflect our evolving business and our strategic ambitions to expand geographically, leverage our capabilities across our territories and ensure we serve more customers with the products, solutions and services that enable them to grow. I am confident that with the depth of experience and talent of our leadership team, we are in a great position to continue our successful transition into a service led, value-added distributor that provides specialist expertise and support for customers across a diverse range of technologies,” said Griffin.

The European and ME country managing directors and the CEOs of Jam Industries and Stampede (N.America, Latin America, Asia Pacific) will also report to O’Keeffe along with the EMEA category heads for Pro AV Solutions and Consumer Solutions.

In the UK and Ireland, Richard Hinds has been appointed to the new role of chief operating officer with responsibility for the finance, purchasing, IT, logistics and customer services functions. Hinds was previously finance director for Exertis UK. In addition, Mike Buley has been appointed as managing director of Exertis’ consumer division. Buley has been instrumental in building the retail business at Exertis for more than a decade. Both report to Bryan.
