Westcon-Comstor has been appointed as an Extreme Networks Authorised Training Partner for the EMEA region. Westcon-Comstor is the only Extreme Networks distributor able to provide this service and across the whole EMEA region.
Dave Garwood, Westcon-Comstor European Vendor Manager for Extreme Networks, said: “Now is a great time for partners to join with Extreme Networks. The Avaya networking, Brocade DataCenter networking and Zebra WiNG Wireless acquisitions have strengthened the portfolio significantly, providing great growth opportunities for all partners in the Extreme community. Extreme is a high-growth, channel first, Gartner WLAN Visionary vendor that ranked #2 in their recent Critical Capabilities for Wired and Wireless LAN Access Infrastructure report, making it an even more compelling high-performance networking proposition. The addition of training services to Westcon-Comstor’s deep knowledge of Extreme Networks means partners, existing or new, can invest in a relationship that will pay dividends in the long-term. All partners will be better able to deliver on the Extreme promise of ‘better connections, better experiences’.”
John Campbell, Distribution Manager EMEA, Extreme Networks added: “The relationship between Extreme Networks and Westcon-Comstor continues to strengthen and deepen, typified by the appointment of Westcon as ATP for our EMEA business. We have high expectations of this expanded capability, particularly as it positively impacts our strategic objective to enable Authorized and acquisition partners”.
Extreme Networks training is delivered through the Westcon-Comstor Academy. Fully certified and qualified instructors, with extensive real-world experience, deliver Westcon-Comstor vendor accredited courses from 48 training centres across EMEA.
