Global cyber security company F-Secure has appointed Beta Distribution as a UK distributor for corporate resellers. Beta Distribution, Headquartered in London and with offices throughout the UK, is a specialist product, services and solutions IT distributor which serves over 3,000 resellers across the UK, including over 150 Managed Services Providers.
Beta Distribution’s Technology Solutions division will act as a “Project Distributor” for F-Secure’s products, focusing on larger projects via selected managed service partners and other resellers.
The company has recently expanded from its traditional cloud and on-premises endpoint anti-virus products and now also offers vulnerability analysis and an advanced managed service for endpoint breach detection and response, F-Secure Rapid Detection Service.
The appointment of Beta Distribution as a distributor opens new opportunities for customers across the UK to explore and benefit from F-Secure’s “Live Security” strategy.
Keith Maskell, country sales manager, UK & Ireland, for F-Secure, said: “As with our established UK distributor, Prianto Ltd., the capability of Beta Distribution to provide strong technical support to its partners was a key factor for us in going ahead with this new distributor appointment. The F-Secure product range and roadmap has expanded greatly following major investments and we are excited to work with Beta Distribution to further expand our support and offerings to new partners and customers.”
Tony Howard, Head of Enterprise Strategy at Beta Distribution, added: “We are very excited about the opportunity to bring F-Secure’s IT security products and services to our partners and this allows us to add Cyber Security to the Solutions and projects we are delivering. We are so impressed with the technical vision of the F-Secure product range and the advanced level of protection that is offered against modern IT security threats. We have a strong technical support capability, which we believe will be key to the value proposition we offer to our partners.”
