Faster Comms from South West Communications Group

South West Communications Group has added faster connectivity services to its range of broadband and leased line offerings to meet the needs of its business customers.

Already suppliers of business class broadband and a range of wide and local area network connectivity solutions, Exeter-based South West Communications Group has recently launched its cost-effective fibre to the cabinet (FTTC) and Ethernet first mile (EFM) packages.

Its FTTC packages offer download speeds of up to 40Mb and upload speeds of 10Mb. Its EFM offering uses copper wired leased lines to deliver download speeds of up to 35Mb.

Sarah Flowers, South West Communications Group’s sales director, said: “While broadband is a remarkable tool that many of us rely on to receive and send our emails, for web browsing, for access to CRMs, etc., some businesses require superior speeds and reliability. FTTC and EFM both offer faster download and upload speeds which are crucial to an increasing proportion of businesses.

“Whereas previously these connectivity technologies were too expensive to be utilised by a large majority of organisations, price reductions have meant FTTC and EFM are now realistic options that could be beneficial to whole raft of business types.”
