David Pollock, Chief Executive of Chess was thrilled to win such an important award. “This is one of the best awards we could win in our industry. To be judged by our peers to be Service Provider of the Year is a real achievement and we all feel very proud of our success. We launched our Blueprint for Success last year and it has had a phenomenal effect throughout our business. Everyone is focused on our vision and an important part of this is to win business and industry awards for excellence, innovation and service. Another part of our vision is to be recognised by our peers as a performance benchmark in our industry, so winning FCS Service Provider of the Year is a huge step towards achieving our vision”.
Sam Dawkins, from Club Communications who chaired the panel of judges, when announcing the first FCS Service Provider of the Year said, ” The judges were impressed by the level of entries to this first award and as well as the deserving winner, Chess plc, we also awarded Zimo Communications a runner up certificate for their Intelligent Numbering services. Well done everyone!”
“The purpose of the FCS Industry awards is to foster the search for excellence, recognise and reward achievement and encourage the communication and adoption of best practice. The judging is a peer group exercise with big names in the industry offering differing contributions to the overall analysis. Chess’ Blueprint for success has really paid off for the company, and the result of their hard work is this award and well done to Zimo Communications as well. The trophy and certificates were presented by Barry Cryer OBE” said Jacqui Brookes, CEO of FCS.
