Fed up with Viagra spam mail?

Pfizer & Microsoft has announced a joint legal offensive against sellers of illegal Viagra and two Internationl spam syndicates alleged to have promoted siilcit sales of conterfiet versions of the drug. The legal action follows a seven-month investigation during which Microsfot and Pfizer worked together to track down illegal drug distributors operating websites that selling 'generic' viagra as well as the spammers advertising them.

Pharmacy spam rings have been sending hundreds of millions of email messages within the past year alone. Viagra is estimated to feature in up to one out of four spam messages, many of these link to illegal websites that sell consumers illegal versions of the drug.

This could be good news in the long term for businesses all over the UK who undoubtedly receive lots of viagra spam mails on a daily basis.
