FluidOne names new chief revenue officer

FluidOne has announced the appointment of Brendan Lynch to join the Board as chief revenue officer (CRO), reporting to Russell Horton, FluidOne’s CEO. The company said the appointment comes at a “crucial time” as it enters its next phase of organic growth and targeted acquisitions.

In his new role, Lynch will lead FluidOne’s sales, marketing and solution architecture teams. He will work alongside Horton, Chris Rogers (the company’s co-founder and COO), and Roy Hastings (CFO).

Russell Horton, CEO, FluidOne, said, “Having Brendan bring the wealth of experience that he possesses into his role as CRO will be invaluable for our plans for continued growth. We wanted to attract someone that demonstrates the necessary knowledge and tenacity for us to achieve our vision to become the best quality connected cloud solutions provider to UK businesses – so, we’re very pleased to have Brendan join the Board.

“We look forward to seeing how he will shape the sales and marketing strategy, building on our existing talent pool to ensure we continue to grow and scale the business. There is much in the pipeline for FluidOne that Brendan’s experience and attitude will greatly complement in his role as CRO.”

Lynch joins FluidOne from Redcentric, where he was the company’s group sales and marketing director. During his tenure he repositioned the company’s go-to-market messaging and reorganised the sales, marketing and solutions functions. These activities helped to double the Redcentric’s share price.

Prior to that, Lynch served as vice president of sales for Europe at Reliance Globalcom and director for business and partner markets at Virgin Media Business.

Brendan Lynch, CRO, FluidOne, added, “I am pleased to be joining FluidOne at such an exciting and integral time. I believe FluidOne is uniquely positioned in the market and has a fantastic opportunity to deliver products and solutions that UK businesses want and need as an all-encompassing connected cloud solutions provider. I’m looking forward to building upon the strong foundations that are the great team at FluidOne and its outstanding customer service.”
