Fone Logistics jets dealers to Monte Carlo

Fone Logistics’ latest incentive caused a flutter when its top performing mobile phone dealers were treated to a trip of lifetime to Monte Carlo.

Mobile phone dealers from across the UK have just returned from a two night stay in the glamorous resort, as part of Fone Logistics’ growing commitment to deliver value back to its retailers.

The prize included a two night trip to Monte Carlo earlier this month, with full VIP treatment including helicopter transfers, five star hotel and dinner in the famous Cafe de Paris.

The all expenses paid trip was rewarded to the top eight dealers who secured the most Orange business connections between November 2008 and February 2009.

The incentive was based on a points-per-connection model, in which dealers were rewarded for business connections and upgrades with the Orange network.

Amongst the eight winners were Janet Evans of Quasar Business Solutions and her son Paul Evans of Business Data and Mobile.

Gwyneth Smallman from Orange joined Fone Logistics’ sales manager Grant Skelton, business development manager Ryan Neal and managing director, Ian Gillespie, who hosted the dream vacation.

Over the past few months, Fone Logistics has been rewarding its top dealers with over £10,000 of luxury prizes, in its bid to significantly increase connections across all networks and deliver long term value to its dealers.

Fone Logistics sales and marketing director Julien Parven said: “The trip to Monte Carlo was part of our ‘lifestyles’ incentive scheme, which has also seen us jet dealers to Paris for The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and enjoy VIP treatment at the Madonna ‘Live at Wembley’ concert. These fantastic money-can’t-buy incentives just go to show that working with Fone Logistics opens up a world of opportunity.”

Quasar Business Solutions director, Janet Evans said: “Fone Logistics always runs fantastic incentive prizes and that is why I am always keen to please and I am determined to meet sales targets. I was so excited when I was told that I would be going to Monte Carlo and I just couldn’t believe it when my son, who runs Business Data and Mobile, also won. We had a bet on between us to see which one of us would win, so it was great to hear that we’d be going together.

“The trip was a fantastic experience and the management at Fone Logistics really looked after us and ensured that we had the trip of a lifetime. Knowing how to give exciting yet challenging incentives and understanding customers’ needs will ensure that Fone Logistics maintains its status as my number one supplier," Evans added.

Sharon Clare of The Oracle was another winner. She said: "Thank you to Fone Logistics for organising such a wonderful trip, everything was just perfect and truly amazing. Everybody got on really well and had such a great time, The Fone Logistics gang are a really good bunch of people, and made everybody feel welcome. Monte Carlo was such a great place, I loved it and I can’t wait for the next incentive, as I plan to work my little socks off to ensure I win a place."
