Increasing demand for unified communications (UC) expertise is driving growth at Freedom Communications, with the UC, Voice and Data specialist set to exceed its 20% growth target this year. With Gartner considering the enterprise UC market to be entering the early mainstream adoption phase, Freedom is ideally placed to take full advantage of the growing market.
Other investments made by Freedom include:
-Actively supporting market understanding of UC developments through insight led events held at the House of Commons
-A recruitment drive for new Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs)
-A new apprenticeship initiative with West Herts College to develop skills sets in emerging technologies
-Company-wide training for Lync licensing, and sales and marketing
Pat Botting, Managing Director, Freedom Communications, said: “We have built a successful business through our heritage in telephony and already support over 5,000 Voice and Data installations in the UK. However, organisations are now looking for trusted partners who can enable them to evolve their communication and collaboration approach and benefit from the rich features that Lync has to offer.
“Combining our heritage in voice with our knowledge and expertise in new world technologies, we’re ideally placed to support businesses in their strategic communications development. We’re pleased to see our team of UC specialists set us apart from the competition as the appetite for unified communications continues to increase.”
