Frontier makes donation to customer cause

Frontier, the telephony and data network services provider, has made a donation of £2,000 to assist with the charitable work of The Stroke Association. The national charity is a long-standing Frontier customer and is the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating stroke in people of all ages. It funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and helps stroke patients and their families directly through its Rehabilitation and Support Services.

The Stroke Association has staff based at over 200 disparate locations in the United Kingdom. Frontier has been able to offer a hosted VoIP solution for staff based at the charity’s Jersey office and was instrumental in facilitating a new mobile phone contract for The Stroke Association, enabling a single billing, web based platform for landline and mobile telephony.

For The Stroke Association’s, Head of Information Technology said of the relationship with Frontier, “Frontier is our preferred comms supplier and they have been able to provide excellent customer service, giving significant savings on leased line and call costs and offering an efficient web billing platform. They always give clear impartial advice, and because they know our cost base, they can advise easily and quickly on potential savings, which is very important to us as a charity.”

Commenting on the donation, Clifford Norton, Managing Director of Frontier said, “We are delighted to be able to make a small contribution to the excellent work done by our customer, The Stroke Association. Every year, an estimated 150,000 people in the UK have a stroke making it the third most common cause of death in this country. We want to support The Stroke Association efforts to alleviate the suffering caused by strokes and we are honoured to be able to supply comms services to such a worthy charity.”
