Equinox Communications, the London based communications provider has implemented the provision of a 60 plus extension hosted telephony solution delivered over a wireless data connection for an electrical contractor business in Essex. The MyIP hosted IP telephony service is provided by their strategic partner, Frontier Voice & Data.
Frontier’s MyIP combines web-based call handling features, soft phone technology and Outlook integration. Conferencing facilities are also in-built. The service is designed, says the vendor, to be easy to sell, implement and use.
Commenting on the MyIP installation, Michael J Thornton, Sales and Marketing Director of Frontier said, “This contract is typical of the success our channel partners such as Equinox are having with MyIP. Frontier MyIP comes with all the features expected of hosted IP solutions but the added value we deliver is that the service is so easy to sell, flexible and simple to use. We provide access to our hosted IP portal allowing channel partners to easily build a customer quote, place orders, and access marketing collateral and support documentation – all in just a few clicks.” Thornton added “It’s an added bonus to be working with Dave Millett as I believe he delivers just the type of strategic partner qualities that I am looking for.”
For Equinox, Dave Millett, Director said, “Hosted VoIP solutions are the fastest growing part of the communications market with analysts estimating that one in four of all extensions will use hosted technology by 2012. MyIP frees businesses from worrying about the ownership and support of a telephone network. There is minimal capital expenditure and services are billed on a ‘usage’ and pay-as-you-go basis. What was impressive was Frontier’s willingness to work with a wireless leased line, which was the only way to deliver connectivity and the attention to detail during the transition process. We are delighted that our customer has chosen to benefit from MyIP.”
