Fujitsu has announced that its SELECT Expert partner Viadex has been chosen as EMEIA Rising Star Partner of the Year 2017. The global infrastructure and deployment specialist is the first UK-based partner to win the award, after rising to becoming Fujitsu’s largest channel partner in the UK after just 18 months in the programme.
The award forms part of Fujitsu’s SELECT Innovation Awards, taking place at Fujitsu Forum, which recognise the exceptional roles that Fujitsu’s SELECT Registered and SELECT Expert channel partners play in helping businesses co-create digital transformation and deliver human centric innovation. With this award Viadex is recognised for its strong sales and certification efforts, as well as its loyalty and commitment within the first two years of partnership.
For the past 16 years since its inception in 2001, Viadex has been providing enterprise class IT solutions, supply chain consolidation, and import/export services to UK-based organisations with geographically dispersed infrastructures.
James Johnston, Head of Products at Fujitsu, added: “We’re pleased to announce Viadex as Fujitsu’s EMEIA Rising Star Partner of the Year 2017. They’ve been a terrific partner over the last year, and we’re excited to recognise the growth journey they’re on, as well as the transformative impact they have on their customers as they navigate the digital landscape. In our recent survey of business leaders across Europe, 84% said the ability to change will be crucial to their survival in the next five years, and it is great to see partners like Viadex providing solutions to that challenge”
Dino Cooper, Viadex CEO, said: “I’d like to thank Fujitsu for this award, and for their support over the past 18 months. Understanding the needs and pressures that our customers experience in their own markets is at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud to be a part of a programme that supports the consolidation of our business in this space as we continue to grow. Back in July our global expansion plans saw us being ranked among the top 200 UK companies in terms of international growth in the Sunday Times HSBC International track. This latest accolade from our trusted partner is a testament to us having the resource, expertise and scope to deliver for our customers as they undergo their own transformation journey”.
