Fun Text and Mogreet partner to offer mobile video greetings

Content-based mobile messaging service, Fun Text, has announced a partnership with Mogreet, the first mobile video messaging business in the US. Under the agreement, the company’s premium content will be available on-deck within the Fun Text services on Sprint in the US and T-Mobile and 3 in the UK.

Mogreet has relationships with top tier content partners, including Paramount Digital Entertainment, Break.com, TOKYOPOP and Tila Tequila. The mobile video greetings will include clips from newly released films such as The Love Guru and Tropic Thunder, as well as clips from beloved films such as The Godfather, School of Rock, Clueless, and Grease, and popular Manga content such as Princess Ai, A Midnight Opera and Bizenghast.

James Citron, CEO, Mogreet, stated: “By partnering with Fun Text, Mogreet can extend its offering to subscribers in two key mobile markets. Today’s mobile consumers are hungry for something new, and Mogreet empowers them with a fun, entertaining way to express themselves.”

Mogreet and Fun Text will offer mobile video greeting cards for every occasion – birthdays, holidays, special events, flirting, make-ups/break-ups, call me, love you and I’m sorry.

James Pycock, business development director at Fun Text, added: “Mogreet is a leader in mobile video greetings including iconic moments from classic movies. These provide a great way to say what you want to say in a rich format that basic text messaging can never convey. Fun Text aims to give consumers premium professional content that enhances their mobile messaging experience, and content doesn’t get much better than Hollywood entertainment.”
