Funambol DM Carrier Edition implements the OMA DM 1.2 standard and automates bootstrap, configuration, setup, provisioning, monitoring, firmware over the air (FOTA) updates, lock-down and erase, and reporting.
Funambol DM Carrier Edition implements Device Reported Measurements and Diagnostics (DRMD), the new standard for WiMAX diagnostics and reporting, and is based on open source, for full customizability. The solution can be deployed on-premises or hosted in the cloud by Funambol for customers.

The client supports multiple network profiles (roaming) and DRMD diagnostics for network QoS support.
