Funkwerk VoIP adapters bridge the gap between analogue and IP telephony

Funkwerk’s new Analogue Telephone Adapters (ATA) the funkwerk V101 and funkwerk V102, allow standard analogue telephones to be connected directly to an Ethernet LAN for use with VoIP services. For SoHo applications, the SIP-compatible funkwerk V-series can be connected directly to an ADSL modem or router; while for corporate environments, the ATA devices can be used in combination with enterprise-class routers such as the bintec R1200 or bintec R3000.

The funkwerk V101 supports the use of any VoIP services from SIP providers and includes a port for connection to a PC or a notebook. Features such as an integrated PPPoE (Point-to-Point over Ethernet) client, DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) client, a DHCP server and DNS (Domain Name System) client, along with support for static IP addresses are included to meet the needs of private users and home office customers and can be configured easily via a web browser.

The funkwerk V102 will connect two analogue telephones or fax devices, which can be used to make VoIP calls simultaneously. Like the Funkwerk V101, it includes Ethernet ports for connection to the Internet, connections to a PC or notebook and has all of the features required by private users, home offices and enterprises.
