Further Boost to Mayflex Team

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and physical security solutions distributor, has appointed Simon Robinson as the new Infrastructure Product Manager.

Coming to Mayflex from ADC Krone, Simon joins Mayflex with nearly 15 years’ experience in the industry and a great deal of technical expertise within Infrastructure data cabling. Simon has a career built on great achievements and has many industry qualifications under his belt.

In his role of Infrastructure Product Manager, Simon will take responsibility for managing the complete lifecycle of the Infrastructure product portfolio, ensuring that the company maximises sales opportunities presented by the market. He will also be instrumental in developing the Excel brand, a significant brand in Mayflex’s offering, and the UK’s fourth largest structured cabling system in the last three years’ BSRIA reports. After much recent success, Excel is set to see even further growth this year, both in the UK and internationally, and Simon will be a great force in managing the growth.

In addition to this, he will also assist with any new product launches and will be working closely with the marketing, purchasing and Infrastructure departments, as well as being a key contact for the company’s main Infrastructure supply partners.

Simon is very happy to have joined Mayflex and is looking forward to this challenging new role. With a great understanding of a range of Infrastructure products, Simon is yet another great addition to the company. With other recent new recruits from large industry players, Mayflex’s team is strengthening enormously, and the company is looking forward to a promising year ahead.
