Fused Group Put Hold on BT Price Increases

Fused Networks, part of the Manchester based converged solutions provider Fused Group, has announced that it will not be passing on the recent price increase from BT to its current or prospective channel partners for DSL services.

Philip Knight, the Fused Group’s CEO comments: ‘We have looked long and hard at the changes BT has implemented and, as many other ISPs with a high volume of connections, we are disappointed by the 24% increase and the way in which it was handled. However, passing this on to our partners will not be beneficial to anyone.’

Fused Networks will be maintaining its current pricing structure based around an up to 24Mb ADSL2+ LLU service starting at £4.61/month. Knight further comments ‘Whilst we realise than many competing ISPs have revised their pricing in the light of the BT announcement, we have made the strategic decision to keep our pricing constant. We appreciate our Channel Partners are facing a tough commercial environment and we want to offer them all the tools possible to succeed in 2009.’
