Fused Kicks off at Manchester City FC

The Fused Group – formerly Telecomplete – kicked off their new identity by being Corner Flag sponsors at the Manchester City vs. Newcastle United game recently. Along with City legends Colin Bell and Peter Barnes and key partners, the Fused Group watched Manchester City win 3 – 1 in style.

Manchester City FC is a long-term client via Fused partner Synergy Technology, one of Manchester’s leading IT solutions providers. Synergy has worked with the Club on their communications strategy for the last X years, providing them with Fused’s Managed Wireless Area Network in 3 Manchester locations – City of Manchester Stadium, the Academy and the Training ground.

The Club benefits from guaranteed, un-contended connectivity via two separate 10Mb connections routing into different points of presence at the Stadium. In conjunction with this, they also have an SDSL service and several ADSL connections installed. The training ground is served by a 4Mb WMAN service along with their Academy also taking a 4Mb WMAN service.

Anthony Poole Synergy Technology’s MD comments: “Synergy Technology, Manchester Based IT Consultancy recommended Fused Networks to the Manchester City Football Club (MCFC). As a strategic partner, Synergy has been working with MCFC for 8 years on their technology and telecommunications strategies, in order to bring leading edge systems to the Club. Fused has delivered an innovative solution in tight time scales resulting in significant value both short and long term to Manchester City.”

Philip Knight, CEO of the Fused Group, comments ‘It was a great day and an excellent way to thank some of our more longstanding partners who have been with us as Telecomplete and will now continue as partners of the Fused Group. It is not just a name and brand change- we are re-invigorating our products and services too over the next couple of months. It was also great to celebrate at a client site and see first hand how Fused and Synergy Technology have created an excellent communications solution for the Club. Then only issue was the score line - not quite what I was looking for as a die-hard Newcastle supporter!”
