Gamma has confirmed a number of new changes within the Product Sales team. Roan Pratt has been appointed to the role of Head of Product Sales. Roan joined Gamma almost 10 years ago, starting off as a Mobile Sales Specialist and most recently in the Head of Resale position. To fill Roan’s place, Matt Barnett has been promoted to Head of Resale.
With the aim of continuing to help Gamma partners sell more, the Product Sales team has increased considerably in the last few months, with four staff members joining Gamma and three more currently being recruited. This team provides a vital role to partners, assisting in the technical sales, bid and commercial support, to ensure partners win new business.
With this expansion, a number of new initiatives have been rolled out, including a new data quote hotline for Gamma Partners to search for a more competitive quote if they are able to provide an equivalent quote from a competitor. The team have also started running outbound telesales activity for the Cloud Compute product, providing partners with qualified leads to follow up.
Commenting on these internal promotions and new appointments, Roan Pratt, Head of Product Sales at Gamma says: “The Product Sales team play an important role for our channel partners, assisting them to grow their business further with additional revenue and margin opportunities. By bringing on more talented people to this team we hope to strengthen our existing relationships and help even more partners across the entire Gamma product set.”
Ram Moetamedi, Managing Director at UK IT Networks commented: “We’ve partnered with Gamma for over five years and have always valued their excellent solutions in the hosted marketspace. Backed by a resilient data offering for SME’s in the forms of Assured & Converged, has allowed us to continually acquire new clients year on year. Until very recently, the competitive marketspace has encouraged us to utilise a variety of reputable network partners for our Ethernet offering. Supporting a Gamma hosted solution and a 3rd party Ethernet connection certainly had not been our preferred blend of services. Since we have started to utilise Gamma’s Ethernet Price Matching offer, our sales team have been empowered to meet the appetite for competitively priced Ethernet in conjunction with the inherently resilient hosted solutions from their network. This in turn has given us the competitive edge over other telephony providers, maximised our profitability and optimised internal process.”
