Gamma launches PhoneLine+

Gamma has launched PhoneLine+, a new landline replacement solution, that has been designed to replace the traditional landline service using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology to deliver calls over the broadband network.

PhoneLine+ has been created specifically for micro businesses who rely on a single PSTN landline, as these lines will need to be replaced before the PSTN is switched off in 2025.

The service acts as a wholesale line rental (WLR) replacement service and supports features including voicemail, call divert, call transfer and call hold. The service is delivered and fully managed from the cloud so the service is always available and maintained, and can be accessed on a choice of devices.

Chris Wade, chief marketing and product officer at Gamma, explained, “In developing PhoneLine+, we spoke to hundreds of small business owners about their biggest daily challenges and the results spoke for themselves.

“It was clear that having a business phone that works every time, is easily accessible and allows customer and call information to be available in an intuitive way, would be a huge advantage. PhoneLine+ delivers in all these areas and more.”

Alan Shraga, managing director at Fidelity said, “We’ve been involved with the limited early release of PhoneLine+ and we think it’s a fabulous product with a great set of features. To be able to offer our customers a competitive landline replacement that is uniquely positioned in terms of both features and price point puts us at a great advantage.”
