Gamma strengthens Microsoft Teams telephony proposition

Gamma Communications has enhanced its direct routing proposition and unveiled a new PBX integration for Microsoft Teams.

This deepening of Gamma’s interconnection with Microsoft applications builds on the previously released direct routing for Microsoft Teams proposition. Gamma has expanded the solution to automate and simplify the provisioning experience using Gamma Voice.

Gamma has also announced the launch of Horizon for Microsoft Teams, a bolt-on solution to Horizon bringing the features of Gamma’s leading business-grade cloud PBX within the Microsoft Teams environment.

The solution enables businesses to use Microsoft Teams as a Horizon endpoint to make and receive telephone calls leveraging Gamma’s Direct Routing capability.

Chris Wade, chief marketing and product officer, Gamma (pictured), explained, “Our new direct routing automation along with Horizon for Microsoft Teams will allow us to give our partners and customers full choice and flexibility when it comes to their UCaaS and voice provider within their Microsoft environment.

“With these new additions to our recently expanded portfolio, we [can] meet the communications requirements of any-sized business, who can safely rely on business-grade solutions underpinned by our independently-owned business network.”

Horizon for Microsoft Teams allows customers to support complex business voice requirements, all provisioned within the new Gamma Voice app. This is an alternative to Microsoft Calling Plans, and includes advanced features such as business call recording, hunt groups, and auto attendant.
