Gamma Telecom Appoints New Channel Director

Voice services applications and solutions provider Gamma Telecom has announced the appointment of Ben Le Feuvre in the role of Channel Director responsible for a team of four people who provide products and services directly to the channel.

Le Feuvre joins Gamma with 20 years experience in the telecoms industry, working with companies such as Tiscali and Siemens. Most recently Ben worked at Telstra Europe where he set up and developed its resale channel into a recognisable brand from a virtual standing start. Prior to this he ran Tiscali’s wholesale channel and Worldcom’s (now Verizon) resale channel.

Le Feuvre’s decision to join Gamma reflects his belief in the channel as the best route to market, which Gamma also supports fervently. Explaining his decision, Ben commented, “Gamma’s 100% commitment to the channel is refreshing at a time when many carriers’ dedication to the channel appears to be wavering. Gamma is also at the cutting edge in the development of IP based products, which is an exciting place to be.”

Welcoming his appointment, Bob Falconer, CEO of Gamma commented, “It is important to Gamma that we continue to attract top quality executives in order to ensure our structure suits the needs of our channel partners and the market.” He continued, “As we move more towards a software driven business, away from the traditional carrier model, we need to have senior people with excellent track records in the telecoms industry. Ben brings with him just such a record and we look forward to working with him to achieve our goals.”

As Gamma continues to grow at around 30% per annum, the company is investing more in high quality, industry experienced professionals. Gamma expects that this strategy will ensure that the company will continue with its current, impressive rate of growth.
