The new positions are for Customer Service Advisors, Technical Advisers, Team Managers and Support Staff, working for an existing Garlands' client in the telecoms and broadband industry. Recruitment activities start immediately.

Construction of the 800 seat, 47,000 sq ft contact centre in South Shields is expected to be completed in April 2008 - with around a thousand people eventually working at the Garlands' South Shields site.
