GENBAND has announced the expansion of its Nuvia UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) solution to the UK with iHub as a master distributor. GENBAND’s Nuvia service provides a suite of market ready desktop, mobile and web optimized business communications services to both small businesses and large enterprises.
“In the last 6 months of 2014 we saw the UK Hosted UC market grow by 17%, demonstrating that the market is moving strongly towards a hosted future, and the market momentum is a sure sign to service providers and channels alike that they can’t wait any longer to execute their own strategy,” said Matthew Townend, Director, the Cavell Group.
Many businesses, both small and large, are saddled with outmoded PBX hardware that no longer meets the needs of today’s communications-‐rich environment. By deploying Nuvia, these companies can cost-‐effectively replace that legacy asset with a more reliable, feature rich, cloud-‐based unified communications solution backed by GENBAND’s carrier grade technology.
“We’re thrilled to deliver a compelling solution that helps make UK businesses more productive, mobile and collaborative,” said David Hiscock, GENBAND’s Senior VP of EMEA Sales. “Selecting iHub as a master distributor will be a tremendous boost – they have a proven track record with Britain’s small and medium businesses and we’re confident that they will help us grow our base of Nuvia resellers and delighted customers quickly and effectively.”
“This expansion of our long standing relationship with GENBAND is good news for iHub and for our customers,” said Steve Day, CEO of iHub. “We continue to excel at meeting our goal of delivering an exceptional suite of cloud-‐based PBX and collaboration services to our small business customers. Today, we are embarking on a new chapter in our business relationship, taking on the role of a master distributor. We look forward to collaborating with GENBAND to develop new reseller partners that will quickly expand Nuvia’s reach.”
GENBAND combines extensive experience in providing next generation solutions backed by a tradition of excellence, delivering the best of stability and innovation to its partners and customers.
The Nuvia solution can be resold under the Nuvia name or rebranded and resold in a multi-tier model.
