Finalists to be flown to Barcelona G-Force event – September 11th – 13th 2012

Nominations close 20th July

G-Force attendees to vote for winner

Genesys has announced the launch of its EMEA Customer Service Hero awards programme 2012 to find the most exceptional customer service representative within the region. The programme, which is in its second year, offers Genesys contact centre customers the opportunity to recognise and reward those unsung heroes who regularly go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver exceptional customer service.

UK customer service agents and their colleagues will be invited to submit their stories of how they have gone the extra distance to create an outstanding outcome for a customer. Three finalists will be flown to G-Force in Barcelona on September 11th - 13th. G-Force attendees will vote for the ultimate Customer Service Hero of EMEA where the winner will be announced live on stage. The 2011 award went to Ahmed Shalaby, a senior Customer Care Representative with Vodafone Egypt.

Genesys aims to rid the world of bad customer service with its solution-driven technology and it recognises that it is the front-line customer service agents that can often make the difference between poor, satisfactory and outstanding customer service.

Keith Wilkinson, Vice President for UK, Ireland and South-East Africa, Genesys: “Even though companies are using our innovative technology to deliver more effective and engaging customer service, we never lose sight of the fact that it needs to be combined with the human element to ensure an exceptional customer experience. We are excited to be offering our clients the opportunity to honour employees that perform heroic acts of customer service on a daily basis.”
