Speaking to Comms Business Magazine at the launch of the new Westcon Convergence in London yesterday George was looking refreshed and relaxed amongst the delegates attending.
“I have now completed the period of handover to Westcon and am considering a number of possibilities relating to a return to the channel.”
No further details were forthcoming but George retains a very loyal following amongst resellers as was demonstrated by the applause for him which followed David Grant’s recognition of the role George had played in the channel in building up Crane.
The Crane brand has now disappeared entirely with David Grant explaining that the move had been discussed at length but that Westcon had decided operate as a single entity albeit the Crane ethos remained at the core of the new organisation.
