Getronics, the ICT services provider and subsidiary of Dutch KPN, has announced two senior appointments as the business readies itself for future growth. Steve Covers joins the business to lead the UK sales function as Sales Director, whilst Jane Rasmussen has been appointed HR Director.
Covers brings more than 25 years of sales experience to Getronics, having previously held key roles at Verizon and Equant, and will be responsible for driving growth in the UK and supporting the imminent launch of a number of new services.
Commenting on his new role at Getronics, Covers says: “It’s a great time to be joining the company with a number of big customer wins of late. With a marked change in the way businesses utilise and pay for their IT services, I’m pleased to be part of a company that is responding to this by offering flexible contracts to enable true business agility. I’m looking forward to building on the success of the team and am confident that we will see further growth over the coming months.”
With over 25 years of HR experience across both the retail and IT industries, Rasmussen will play a central role in supporting the growth plans of the business through a number of strategic hires. Rasmussen will work closely with the international HR team through its current period of growth in the UK and will lead on ensuring the right people are in place for achieving the goals set for the UK business.
