A survey conducted by the international research institute, GfK, has placed Jabra as the product leader in the speakerphone category.

The GfK Sound & Design study recognises the performance of the Jabra SPEAK 410, offering portability with sound quality and design that is superior to those of conventional stationary speakerphones.

Combining blind evaluation of sound and design with 60 interviews, the Jabra SPEAK 410 beat all three comparative speakerphones in the study for voice sound quality, music sound quality and design.

Optimised for Microsoft Lync and compatible with other leading Unified Communications and VoIP clients, the Jabra SPEAK 410 provides a good sound experience for voice on softphone conference calls.

Genuine wideband audio together with high quality loudspeakers and a range allowing people to hear and speak clearly are the defining characteristics behind the sound quality of the Jabra SPEAK 410, with 55% of study participants selecting this above the competitors.

The speakerphone also excelled when playing background music, with nearly 70% of the test interviewees making it their first choice for music with another 23% ranking it in second place.

Vice President of Jabra Product Management, Soeren Christensen, said: “Work dynamics are rapidly changing, with people constantly moving between work groups and locations. Connectivity between people on the move is key to successful business in a global world and the Jabra SPEAK 410 helps to optimise productivity by enabling one-to-one and small group conference calls at any time and in any place.
