Glide has reported remarkable growth in the UK’s Wholesale Channel market. Having started from scratch just over a year ago, Glide now has more than 300 partners who are utilising the Glide fibre network. Additionally, Glide is already billing a significant amount per month with 183 of those partners – a figure which continues to grow on a month-by-month basis.
Glide provides a unique solution, delivering connectivity in areas where the traditional networks are unable to deliver, as well as areas they aren’t prepared to upgrade. Glide enables the Channel to cross sell products on top of a better level of connectivity, which is a key requirement for cloud services. One of Glide’s key objectives is opening up a whole host of connectivity options to its Channel.
Commenting on the phenomenal growth, Daniel Alvarez, Head of Wholesale at Glide says: “We first started approaching the reseller Channel 14 months ago and it is great to see what our team have achieved in such a short time.”
“In the next three to five years, copper services are forecast to be cut off, meaning it is essential for the wholesale channel to fibre-proof businesses now before it is too late. With the confirmation of the £5 billion in government grants to enable fibre provision, it really is time for resellers to start future proofing broadband for their clients before somebody else does. I am excited to continue with our plans to maximise connectivity for end users and establish ourselves at the forefront of the industry.”
