Headset vendor GN Netcom has expanded its sales team to meet the growing demand in the UK for high quality headsets. The appointment of Dale Peters as Sales Director and Eamon O’Doherty, Damian Kingsford and Kerri Smith as Account Managers reflects GN Netcom’s ongoing success as it keeps pace with consumer demand for Bluetooth devices and the business demand for wireless and IP telephony-compatible headsets .
All four new members of the sales team will be tasked with driving awareness of both Jabra and GN Netcom branded products in retail and business channels.
Dale Peters joins GN Netcom from mobile operator, Vodafone, where he was responsible for developing and implementing a global partner programme, concentrating specifically on developing new routes to market for mobile data products. The programme was successfully deployed across all of Vodafone’s key operating companies, resulting in the recruitment of a new reseller channel, increased penetration into the SME market and significant growth in sales of mobile data solutions. Dale will use this experience and market expertise to further develop GN Netcom’s channel partner strategy.
Eamon, Damian and Kerri are all experienced account handlers having worked with mobile operator, 3, T-Mobile and Imation respectively. All three will use their sales and management experience to grow GN Netcom’s existing channel base.
“The coming year is set to be really exciting for GN Netcom,” explained Jan McNair, managing director, GN Netcom. “Dale, Eamon, Damian and Kerri will be key in enabling GN Netcom to capitalise on the increasing use of IP Telephony, as well as the changing driving legislation which puts safe hands-free communication high on the consumer agenda as it doubles the current fine and automatically gives offenders three points on their licence.”
