GN Netcom Seeking to Expand Channel

GN Netcom has launched a new Channel Partner Programme, as part of a major drive to attract new resellers and enhance the support package for its existing partner network. The programme will help partners profit from a boom in wireless headset demand, partially driven by the growth of IP telephony, which is set to increase by 40 per cent in 2007 according to Ovum.

In the last year, GN Netcom has seen wireless headset sales grow by 200% in the UK and the company says demand is soaring in the office and contact centre markets in 2006, creating new business opportunities for resellers.

By bundling the high-margin GN headsets with other products, resellers can frequently revisit their customer base and up-sell their existing portfolio, offering customers a complete communications solution.

The new channel programme offers a tiered framework designed to suit resellers of all sizes and will help them to take advantage of an easy-to-sell portfolio of high margin, award winning products.

The programme also offers a number of other key benefits:

Free training and dedicated sales personnel

A regular communications programme

Marketing materials and support

Discounted, in-house and demonstration equipment

“The significant increase in the uptake of wireless headsets and expected market growth provides a fantastic opportunity for UK resellers,” said Jan McNair, Managing Director, GN Netcom. “Our new partner programme reflects our commitment to the channel and working with our approved distribution partners we hope to attract resellers of all sizes. The tiered approach ensures that each partner is receiving the right support from GN, including training, education, incentives and access to marketing development funds.”
