Good Technology Partners for Cloud Vision

Cloud
Good Technology has announced new innovations and partnerships that allow businesses of all sizes to realize the impact, value and opportunity that secure mobility can have for their organization. The announcements include a new cloud-based secure mobility solution, new carrier and distributor partnerships and a comprehensive range of mobile service management capabilities. The company also announced today the intent to acquire BoxTone, the innovator of mobile service management.

“Mobile security is no longer a topic reserved for large enterprises, regulated industries or the office of the CIO,” said Christy Wyatt, CEO and President of Good Technology. “Everyone has data that should and needs to be protected on the mobile devices they are carrying. With these new partnership and product announcements, businesses of all sizes can now access the same industry-leading security and management capabilities that were once only available to large organizations.”

Good Introduces First Cloud-based Solution

Today, business professionals in any size organization, ranging from large corporations to small business to individual consultants, have the same privacy and security needs. With the newly-announced Good Pro, individuals that source and manage their own mobile technology can have the same enterprise-grade security Good is known for, but in a simple, downloadable cloud-based app.

Good Pro delivers the intuitive experience and performance users expect in a native application, but beyond that, delivers business-class productivity with Good’s security and privacy protection. The Good Pro mobile app is optimized for everyday workflows that the business user relies on, pulling all business information together, including email, contacts and calendar from Microsoft Exchange and Business Office 365, and integrating with third party file sharing services, such as Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive.

“Security matters most when choosing mobile productivity apps, whether on-premise, cloud hosted or hybrid,” said Jean Philippe Bouchard, research director, mobile enterprise software and applications, IDC. “Today, more than ever, organizations of all sizes are looking beyond native capabilities to enable a better business experience.”

Good Pro beta for Android will be available in March at no cost via Google Play, with the iOS beta version to be made available in April. Good Pro pricing and supported languages will be announced at the time of general availability.
